ADHD Sleep Advice for ADHD Adults | ADDitude – ADHD Information & Resources. True for my offspring and myself!

Literary Birthday – 22 July – Tom Robbins – Writers Write Creative Blog. I loved Skinny Legs and All. Couldn’t believe the inanimate things talking to each other in a cave. Threw the book into the back of the car. Got stuck one day (car broke down) found the book and found I couldn’t stop reading. I am embarrassed to admit to crying over missing dirty sock. I need to read his more recent stuff.

Did you know that literary talent and story talent are not the same thing?

Literary talent is the use of words. It’s the ability to create beautiful sentences and spin a stunning metaphor. It’s the language of imagery, the emotion of a carefully placed consonant, crafty dialogue, and gorgeous descriptions.

But according to Robert McKee in his book Story “literary talent is common.” Where as story talent (in his opinion) is rare. He goes on to say that “literary and story talent are not only distinctively different but are unrelated, for stories do not need to be written to be told. Chronic Comic 324 : FibroModem. I have been in an extreme flare the last few days. The weird part of that little comic is that when I am not in a flare I almost don’t believe such a thing exists. Meanwhile, I am very unhappy about my lack of wordage. Typing is very uncomfortable and I can’t make it too far from my bed so finding a why to Dragon-Speak in a private area hasn’t happened.  But you watch. When this flare goes bye-bye I won’t remember how miserable I was. Grrrr.
