MommaDar didn’t bring her phone or camera so you’ll just have to take it from the dog’s mouth.
We live in a very small town. Our library is dog friendly. The librarian usually has treats for the dogs that come to visit but she had just run out. Even so a nice man, MommaDar seemed to know him, offered me a treat.
It didn’t seem right. I think MommaLaura wouldn’t approve of taking treats from strangers, so I smiled at him and smelled the wonderful library smells.
MommaDar doesn’t get books at the library. She turns in her hats and other things and picks up the donated yarn to make other things. She reads library books on her Kindle.
It doesn’t matter. I can tell that the library is MommaDar’s favorite place. I can’t wait to get back.
My Mom’s library isn’t that friendly to me. I can be out on the wrap-around porch, but I have to be zipped into my little carry bag with windows while she goes to get the books. If they have treats anywhere I haven’t found them – but I’ll take treats from anybody.
Woof! TINK
I’m so sorry your library is dog negative. You would think a place that makes humans that happy could be a little more inclusive. Woof! TINK is Knit backward. That’s all I know about that word.
Knit would probably be a good word to describe my longish coat when Mom doesn’t brush it out every day!
Woof! TINK
So is TINK your name? BTW, I have very short hair but momma says it’s soft. I don’t need so much brushing.
TinkerToy was my Mom’s dumb idea. I was REALLY little then, and I didn’t know how to speak up at the time. I’m partial to Killer, but I’m grateful she didn’t go with Hoover (she says because anything on the floor ended up in my mouth).
I’m still only ten and a half pounds – but my fur makes me look bigger. I only look scrawny when I’m wet (which isn’t all that often when Mom keeps up with brushing).
Besides the two-legses that go to school and live all together in the house next store – they say it’s “adorable” – the only one who really calls me anything besides Tink or Tinker – and lives to talk about it. – is my Mom. lololol
Woof! TINK
LOL! I’m glad you qualified your name. I have respect for any dog with the inner name Killer.
My other name is Radar Ears because my ears are always up hearing everything. I saved the black cat, Rosie this morning with my awesome ears. Pops accidentally left her in his office when he left this morning. I let MamaDar know by standing in front of that door with my front right leg up. I’ve been told I’m quite the pointer, though it is usually said with a giggle as they point to my tiny tail. It’s good enough for me, I can wag it, that’s what it’s for, right?
Anyway, MamaDar opened the office door and Rosie nearly hugged me. Ugh! Cat kisses!
Hey, Killer, don’t get too upset at the name. At least you don’t have to wear wings and carry a wand!
Thanks for chatting with me, Killer. The bloggesphere doesn’t have enough dogs, you know?
Your friend, Kali.Bark!
Hey Kali — (Radar is pretty cool, btw, but I’d make ’em leave off the “ears” part if it were me)
You’ve gotta’ come over and leave a calling card on my Party guest-list. You can meet a BUNCH of other blogging dogs (some of them even have their own books out!!!) There are also cats, pigs, hamsters – all kinds of blogging critters out there (even birds).
Check out “TinkerToy’s FIRST Meet and Greet for 4-legses”
You can still get to it about half way down on the “Most Recent Articles” list on Mom’s right sidebar for another few weeks before you have to search for it in a tiny box at the top of her site — easy links scroll down as we post new stuff.
(Um, don’t tell her I said this, but the homepage is totally boring – don’t EVEN bother.)
My tail is a lot longer than yours all by itself, but my fur makes it look like it goes on forever. I have to carry it high over my back or I’d trip on it. Your tiny tail sounds a lot more practical to me!

Did we reply to this one? I think MommaDar got sidetracked by shiny chickens, again! That is not to say that I don’t get distracted by the noise roosters next door, but “outside” has so many things to explore and our weather hasn’t let us get out much and see what’s where. Anyway, we went to check out the meet and greets and said hi. Thanks for inviting us. MommaDar is leaving up the tabs to both your site, TINK, and to the Doctor’s site so we can read through everybody’s posts. You’re the greatest, Killer! Big nosey slurp, Kali
I can’t keep track either, Kali – but if they’re for me, I try to respond when I can.
I know you are on your way to bed, so don’t feel pressured to answer this one. We’ll still be up for a bit, so I’ll bet Mom is going to hog the computer again soon. I just wanted to say sleep tight before she did.
Woof! TINK
Sorry, TINK, with my Pops still hurting (he broke his shoulder a couple weeks ago) so when he started hurting tonight MommaDar closed the computer and put on her Kindle machine. She is usually up later but not this time. We are all trying to be quiet for him. Thanks for the sleep tight. It worked!
Ouch! Shoulders are supposed to be the worst to heal from for 2-legses that break bones and things, according to Mom. Poor guy. I hope he feels better soon. Good to be quiet to let him sleep.
Woof! TINK
Thanks, TINK. My cat buddies and I are doing our best to love him through it. Kali
