The weather app on my phone said late-night snow. At midnight ‘outside’ stars in the sky.
Seven o’clock wake up:
Christmas decorations are up at stores too soon. Maybe this is the result of ‘Wishing for a White Christmas’ happens before the last leaves fall from the trees prior to Halloween? It is now 10:35 and the snow is melting. Rain makes icky mud!
Snowing already at your end?
It did a little the other day but didn’t stick. This time it stayed a few hours. There are still little patches even though it is nearly 34 degrees now. How’s it at your end?
I am so jealous of your snow 🙂 Good luck combating the mud!
Wish I could send it to you. It’s pretty. But then it’s COLD! We have several days of cold and dry so not much mud. I’ve lived in the high deserts most of my life, and I still get surprised at how few days of Fall or spring there are. Winter lived high desert.
Cold and dry is essentially foreign to me, having experienced that only in travel.
Bet your skin is amazing! Dry takes its toll in wrinkles. I could do humid. Long Beach, CA, where I lived for a year was great! Poor hubby, though, just can’t tolerate humidly. What’s good about the dry is fans or swamp coolers, not AC in summer. But cold is colder when it’s dry.
My skin is wretched dry, so when I go dry places, it basically screams the whole time! lol BUT, I do have fewer wrinkles than many my age.
I don’t mind humidity until it’s hot, course. 😉
I just heard that more humid climes are better for the skin. Most of my life in deserts… well, I feel I look 20 years older sometimes. And I hate wearing lotions. I feel oily and dirty when I use it. Yuck! Oh, well, we live with what we have and enjoy what life we have! 🙂
Love the wintery photos. Can’t think about the holidays until mid November.
I hope we don’t have to have winter until it actually is here. (After Thanksgiving preferably). It is nicer this week. Just hope we can push that a bit more. My body hates the cold. **Hi, Amy!!**
