Scrappy socks are nearly finished. Most of the pair are made of the Mani-Pedi crew color yarn. The toes and heels are scraps from the previous pair I made. I’m loving how they are working up.
We lived through the triple digit hot Sunday. Today was sort of hot but not nearly as bad. Tomorrow is supposed to be 72. I might wear jeans and T-shirt instead of shorts and tank-top what a relief! I might take a nice walk as air quality is also supposed to be good for a change.

I literally hate the hot weather! Not sure I could cope as well as you do… but those colourful socks are a delight!
In other, bigger cities and other times we could escape to the mall or grocery stores, swam in pools, etc. We, also, had air conditioning. Now, retired, in the tiniest town, we have fans and anything small, like socks, or shows with snow, to keep our minds off of the heat is survival. And thanks!

Thanks. The fires are still there being fought valiantly. We will have a weather system that will blow the smoke elsewhere. I think that’s for two day. Yay! Breathing! Sorry to those getting the smoke. I wish it would rain enough to put the fires out so breathing becomes the norm again.
