But if you’ve been following. I’m spending a lot of time reading. Even reading out loud. I know that seems something small. But my eyes have never been able to see to track and read properly, even though reading has always been my favorite pastime.
So I’m in training now so that my dream of sharing my books and podcasting will happen. I picked up
12Pcs Dyslexia Tools for Kids Dyslexia Reading Strips, Colored Overlays for Dyslexia Transparency Reading Guide Strips for Kids Correction Gel Lighting Filter (11.7 in x 8.3 in) to help me track better.
I’m still checking out Librivox to read aloud books and Audacity to help record podcasts and books.

I didn’t know until in my forties. My brothers were. And then I tested my boys. All of them to one degree or another. The tester said it runs in families and I should get tested. Boom. One explanation for my difficult reading. But I always needed help with tracking due to lazy eye. Luckily, I learned tricks to help me. Many girls have this and learn ways around it. ADD/ADHD diagnosis goes with dyslexia. Mine boys and I got that too. Society is set up for the reader. What do you do when it makes you tired to try? Now if with better vision I want to know more ways to help.

Yes my middle lad is dyslexic, as was one of my brother’s and my mum ! Our lad the middle lad and a left hander though dyslexic is wonderful with people, numbers and sport …I get some interesting texts when he’s tired . Oh! And he was the only one of our lads who passed his driving test first time … nothing is all bad 💜💜😉

Yes, my guys and I are more arty. In my oldest’s and my case, the math is harder. 9s, 6s, and keeping things in line properly can be hard. Yes, my bosses preferred me at the cash register. I knew to be more careful knowing my shortcomings.
One son is an English major but lives his band. Another is a business major. The oldest is still waffling. He is still a great writer. I wish he’d publish his fun books.
My daughter wasn’t tested. She has a bachelor’s in science and holds a career in science.
They are amazing to me.
They all sound amazing to me too especially if they have been combating dylexia too. My eldest and youngest are both in IT. Our middle lad was a prison officer and now is in airport security he deals with the public up close and personal it is his forté. 🫣💜

Thanks! My reason is a few books I couldn’t find on Audible or Libby didn’t have. There may still be copyright issues for Anne McCaffrey. But I feel many can’t read the font and they aren’t Kindle format either.So maybe I can help others?
