As we are finishing the last couple episodes of The 100, I was trying to think of other shows I’ve watched and haven’t shared I’m sad to see the end of The 100 coming in the seventh season coming up on The CW. But I refuse to watch it with the wait between episodes and putting up with commercials. So I’ll wait until Netflix finally gets that last season.
I couldn’t remember what I had watched but I finally figured out that if I click on my profile picture on Netflix, then go to account and viewing activity, I found a list I could download and go through.
We watched Crazyhead. It was fun, different.
The show Typewriter was fun though a bit for a younger audience.
You all probably watched this long ago, but I finally got around to it and found it entertaining, Silence!
All of these were from my Netflix list. I’ll go through my other lists soon. Now I am wishing I would have kept a paper copy of my shows.
Silence is not my favorite. In fact, for the last week or so, my favorite part of the day is afternoon when the thunderstorms start. Even today, I had to shut down my computer after the one-one thousand, two-one thousand then BOOM! And shortly after we would see something like this:
lights our sky. I leave the curtains open as long as I can to catch the show. By the way, that was a shot from Pixabay. Wish I could take photos like that!
Anyway, you would think that when the storm moves on it would be silent. Nope. We have frogs that croak whole stories to each other the rest of the night. Only in early morning do they finish their ribbing.

Early morning is never silent. I think every bird in all creation hang out near our house. I take the dog out for the first ‘outside’ and the chirps and cackles and cock-a-doodles can almost deafen you.

Even when we turn off the TV and sleep for the night our house shakes with noise. Every person in this house snores, even the dog and cats.
(Not a picture of any of our cats, yep, Pixabay.com)
I think I would freak out if silence ever overcame my world. I would expect an earthquake or a need to invest in hearing aids.
Thank you, Linda G. Hill for this Stream of Consciousness Saturday challenge.
With the prompt of the day, Silence, I couldn’t resist this:
For those who aren’t aware of Doctor Who… What planet do you live on?
Why is it that we equate silence with the sound of crickets? Anyone who has lived in places of many crickets knows that is a LOUD obnoxious sound! (I year in Coalinga, California taught me this.)
Simon and Garfunkel come to mind here as quieter sounds of silence.
I’d like to think that we have moments of silence out here in the boondocks. But there is a small airport within a mile from us. There are cows and coyotes and chickens and turkeys and a small amount of traffic in front of our house. The ambient noise is wind–Mariah?
Silence is Golden–wow! We in the rebellious 60s were yelling silence a lot!
It was lots of fun thinking of these songs. But really. Have you noticed that true silence can’t happen? Even if there is no sound. That is when you can hear your heart beating louder than a drum and the breathing noises and swallowing noises. the embarrassing stomach growl and oooh the worst, the fart. And the only place you notice all those noises is in church or maybe worse, yoga class. So maybe there is no such thing as silence? Or does it pass us by like those guys on Doctor Who? Maybe we need to litter our skin with hash marks when we notice?
The prompt, “Silence” was brought to us by Willow. See her blog, âWillowdot21âat  https://willowdot21.wordpress.com/
Once again, thanks to Linda G. Hill for the fun we’re having Jotting every day of January.
