Who’s as cute as a button?

Poor Kali had to go to the vet today. We found blood in her urine. That hour and a half drive is horrid for her on good days. After all is said and done, there was an infection, and she has to take amoxicillin. She doesn’t like it at all.
Speaking of buttons, what is this project with all the buttons? I have a lot of sewing to do. Ugh! I love knitting and crochet, but I hate sewing. But when the projects are done, I will share the results.

Aw, she does love the sympathy. I’ve been successful getting in her mouth while she’s asleep. Even then I offer high praise and a biscuit. I think she’s getting better.
I wish I had my mother’s button tin. My buttons are Joann’s special buy. All rather ordinary. Mom had lots of unique beauties.
You just helped me remember: my mom gave me ten buttons when I was a girl. It was to help me practice a piece on the piano 10 times. Each time I played it, I’d move a button to the right. I was equally annoyed and impressed that it helped.
I am so Glad Kali is improving, our pets are so important to us and cannot tell us how they feel . We worry so about them.
That’s a lovely story to remember about your mum’s button tin. Sadly I did not think of it until I saw the picture of your buttons. Mum’s tin was a silver cylinder shaped in. Full of real treasure. I remember on rainy days or if she needed me occupied she’d get her tin out and let me play with the contents which I always loved to do. So we both reminded eachother 💜
Grandmoms had wonderful collections, too. Nice memories. 💜💜💜💜
I never met any of my grandparents by the time I was old enough they had passed on!
I was very blessed to know not only my grandparents but also vaguely remember my two great grandmas. I often forget that even my grade school chums did have huge families. 💜💜💜💜🤗
